   Just like many of my clients, you might have been told by your doctor to lose weight, in order to improve your health. You may want to get ahead of the game before illness takes its toll on your well-being. You are aware of your unhealthy relationship with food and want to change it, but don't know how.    Whatever the reason, it is important for you to realize a few things. When illness appears most doctors will be very helpful. But they will prescribe you pills, which may help, but in many cases does not solve the root of the problem. They will not teach you the natural health and even healing benefits of certain foods nor how to prepare them to preserve their nutrients. They will not spend time explaining to you how your physical and mental states affect the food choices you make in your life. They will not make you aware of your personal beliefs that sabotage your efforts nor will they help you change them. And that is why, generally speaking, you don't get to reach your health goals that you keep setting for yourself, over and over.    I, myself, had some serious health issues due to food allergies. Following various doctors suggestions, which was to take pills and stop eating whatever was supposedly making me sick, I did not improve. As a matter of fact, things got worst and my allergies almost killed me one day. It scared me enough, the next day, I threw myself into medical and scientific research, read hundredth of books, to finally realize that the preservatives, colorants, processed foods I was eating were actually what was making me sick. Once I switch to organic foods and prepare my own food, my allergies disappeared. Within a few weeks, I regain my health and shade pounds. So trust me, I understand.
 
   Listen, if you are overweight, suffering from allergies, diabetic 2, have heart disease, and many other illness, chances are the food you eat are the main causes. I assure you, there are ways to regain control of your health. I did, so can you! As simple as it may sound, it starts by looking at your relationship with food. I have helped hundredths of people to identify their patterns with food, how to change their behaviors to make room to healthy eating habits while enjoying the pleasures of the table.
